Why I'm bitter about Halo: Anniversary

In 2001 Microsoft's XBOX had its killer app, its console-selling title, it had Halo: Combat Evolved. Say what you want about the Halo series, there's no denying the acclaim and success Halo: CE achieved. Selling over 5 million copies, many of those also selling XBOX consoles, achieving perfect scores with multiple reputable critics and earning a place in the hearts of not-so-reputable critics (like myself,) Halo: CE leaves a legacy that is difficult to surpass. Now ten years later, Microsoft has announced Halo: Anniversary, and I'm pissed.

Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions

Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions

I'm not sure if anyone but me likes Spider-Man but I've loved that shit since I was a kid. Today I'd like to write about my experience with Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions, not because it's a new release (it isn't) but because I fucking feel like it. I know I said I was going to do S.T.A.L.K.E.R but not having auto-save pisses me off.

Dungeon Siege III

Dungeon Siege III

Playing Dungeon Siege III brought a stark realisation to me: I've robbed more imaginary graves than any healthy person should. You know in Borderlands where you'll open a chest and your character will say "Ooooooh! Loot!" Yeah, that's me every single fucking time I pull the wedding ring off a corpse in a crypt. Is this bordering on mental illness? Probably. Do I care? Not in the slightest.

10 games you should be required by law to have played

Throughout my many years (some would say wasted, fuck those guys) gaming, I've come across quite a few games that I believe it should be against the law not to have played. The penalty for breaking the law would come under cruel and unusual punishment and involves a garden hose. Read through this list and if you see a game you've yet to play, you best get your ass in gear and play it.

One week of World of Warcraft

I've owned World of Warcraft for several years now, despite which I've never played it. I've always secretly suspected that World of Warcraft was the same bullshit I'm used to putting up with from MMORPG's due to the fact that almost every other MMORPG is a repainted rip off of World of Warcraft. This sat well with me for quite some time, however I eventually got to the point where I was not content with disliking it without ever having played it anymore. This week I decided I would play for exactly 7 days and formulate my opinions based on what I experience instead of on what I hear.

Epic Failure Time

Hello, I'm Robbeh.

I've been a video gamer for roughly 15 years now. This is a blog dedicated to giving you my personal opinions and thoughts on video games I play. I play new releases and classics of multiple genres and I play them on most platforms. I tend to write my work in a humorous manner and I also tend to be a very sarcastic and cynical individual. I'll release updates whenever I feel like, usually after playing a game.

Until next time.
